Training
Ascent’s lawyers are passionate about training. To them, training their client’s human resources, legal, and management employees is the most effective pathway to real engagement, real partnership, and real learning. And unlike most legal trainings, Ascent does not believe in the all too familiar long, drawn out PowerPoint with a droning lawyer in the background. Ascent’s employment and legal skills trainings are engaging and intentionally interactive by incorporating a “learning by doing” philosophy.
Most of our trainings are delivered in a workshop setting where attendees strategize in a small group setting and apply knowledge we impart during the training. We incorporate actors and role play. This creates a lively and interactive learning environment where participants are encouraged to make mistakes and learn from them.
